God bless the women of Alaska who have the guts to stand up for their convictions and what is right. I knew the Alaskan women with integrity would tell the truth and not allow a woman who is known to be a liar go unchallenged. You make the women of America proud, thank you all for showing the world who Sarah Palin is. Amazing work, ladies, keep it up!

Thank you so much. You just made my day. I was worried about the “folks in Alaska” Glad to see you are a group of people aware of what’s going on.
Keep it up the rest of the country needs to see you.

Women of Alaska, thank you for your courage and spirit to take a stand. Frequently, people reach the conclusion the MSM wants them to, well you spoke loud and clear about where you stand and it’s not with Palin.

I was beginning to lose faith, but at least women are on the sideline this election. I wish there was a woman I could support in this election. but it’s not going to be Bush in a Skirt!

Can you get Obama up there? The MSM might have ignored this rally, but if Obama got a bigger rally in Alaska than Palin did, that would make quite the statement.

(((((Thank You!))))) This is the most heartening story I’ve read since Palin joined McCain.

To progressives of Alaska – Thank You! You have much courage.
I work with the Crawford Texas Peace House in Bush’s (pretend) hometown of Crawford, TX. http://www.crawfordpeacehouse.org
We set up the house in 2003 in protest of the coming Iraq War.
It would be great to see a similar organization pop up in Wasilla or Juneau.

I’m 70 years old and thrilled to see the women of Alaska against this absurd woman, Ms. Palin. She is not ready nor capable of being the Vice President (or possibly President) of our country. In standing up against her, you have raised my hopes that we might finally have the bright, wise, intelligent team of Obama/Biden to lead our country and begin to regain what we have lost in the last eight years.

I watched this a few times because it is so heartening to see, it just brought tears to my eyes. Women are smarter than Republicans think and we will vote on the issues. Many thanks to the women in Alaska from a woman in California. You all do our gender proud!!

I wish Dem women in the nation will do the same any time she visit their state, now that will be a statement to the nation. I am organizing a protest when next she visit my state. Wakeup America women, Obama can not do it alone, let follow these brave women footsteps before is 2 late. This woman will set us back, if you watch the view and hear McCain talk about Roev vs w is wrong, you will know what I mean and take action. We Can not let Dems loss again! If we do, it will be a painfull four years.

Wow, this made my day. I’m in California and most people I talk to in this very red county I live in are terrified of this woman. Women of Alaska, you made my heart feel good today. Keep it up – we need to get out whenever this creature is anywhere and show our numbers. If she and her buddy get in, women’s rights we have realized over the past century will go backwards!

Thank you, enlightened Women of Alaska! You have given us hope! I haven’t been able to sleep for two weeks worrying about Earth’s grim future under a McCain/Palin administration. Tonight I will rest. Tomorrow I’ll work harder to ensure Senators Obama and Biden’s election.

To the thinking women of Alaska: Thank you, thank you. Women will not be bamboozled. If you haven’t already done so, please go to this website

http://womenagainstsarahpalin.blogspot.com/2008/09/one-week-later.html

and add your voice to the more than 130,000 women who have already said “no” to Sarah Palin. We need millions of women to speak out. Thank you.

If McCain really needed and empty headed running mate who looks good in a skirt s that he can win, it’s unfortunate that he’s already alienate Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears.
I live in Arizona and McCain has always been known here as an arrogant SOB and a bully. Is this the best the GOP has to offer?

Women of Alaska! I thank you! Your efforts are incredibly important to send a message to the nation. Many, many people are very disturbed by the “positive” response Palin appears to have received from the public. In truth, she is an insult to intelligent women everywhere. She does not recognize her own limitations nor those of her running mate. Wise women are able to discern when they are qualified to do a job. The response of the protesting women featured at this site tell us that our gender has the capacity to do us proud. Bless you one and all!

Women of Alaska, I am in awe of you! I was like the other responders before me, feeling sort of down by all the attention Sarah Palin has been getting. I am so hopeful that Democrats Barack Obama and Joe Biden will be in the Whitehouse to guide the country through the changes that are needed to get out of this economic, social, and military mess.

The fact that John McCain would select somone like Sarah Palin as his running mate demonstrates that he puts his own need to win above the needs of the country. Hopefully, the whole ticket will self destruct in the next few weeks after the novelty has worn off.

Thank you Woman of Alaska! You have restored my faith in Americans. I was very worried that some bible thumping, gun polishing, incompassionate, idiot was going to a heartbeat away from being President of the United States, leader of the free world at a time when more of the same would certainly be our distruction. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
Get the pics and videos on the net and out to the media. You Woman Rock!!

I am a 47 year old, apolitical woman from NJ who recently came to the realization that I know more about foreign affairs than the Republican Vice Presidential nominee, and I find this frightening. The women and men of Alaska who turned out in droves to disassociate themselves from the irresponsible and confounding support of Sarah Palin should be applauded. You have inspired me to put my thoughts to action in an effort to prevent the potentially disastrous election of GEORGE McCain and Sarah Palin. Let’s force discussion of the ISSUES, i.e. THE ECONOMY, HEALTH CARE, UNEMPLOYMENT, HOME FORECLOSURES, UNREGULATED WALL STREET GONE AMOK………
Thank you for your inspiration!

thank you for posting and for all who showed up…you just gave me hope. (after 8 years of bush, and post-realizing that people actually were buying the palin bs, any version of hope remaining in me had almost entirely disappeared).

You gals do yourselves proud and the rest of Alaska as well. What a movement you’ve started. I can see it evolving to other states. We don’t need to go backward after all these years and lose all women have gained.

Thank you, Women of Alaska!

Don’t you women of Alaska have dinners to make for your men? Go back home and read your bibles! NOW! (I am not referring to the National Organization of Women either!)

Great job women of Alaska….at least you have shown that women are strong and cannot be manipulated like John McCain has all his life. The Obama campaign has been too nice to not point out how McCain dumped his first wife when he found a doll with the money and good life to follow. CNN mentioned it in passing in the biography that they prepared, but most Americans are too civilised to make a big issue of this. The choice of Palin is another attempt to do the same. If he wanted a woman, there were so many capable women who would have helped the country in that role and complemented his lack of skills and so called “executive experience”, which has suddenly become so important in the last few weeks only….till such time it was just “experience” that was important!

Way to go, Gals ‘n Guys! We love you peace-lovin’ Ã…laskans!!!! How ’bout sponsoring tv ads in the lower 48 of aerial hunting of wolves along with Palin’s pronouncements on the issue? That will get more than a few decent people riled up.
Thanks for all you’re going to do to educate the rest of us!
Blessings,
Ruth

I’m so proud of you, Alaska ladies. We can do this! There are millions more registered democrats than republicans. If we all band together to get out the vote, we can make sure Obama is elected.

The sad thing is my grand parents and great grandmother are “old school” and think Obama is a terrorist….They’re too blind to realize how much sh** the Republican’s got us into, and if we put McCain and Palin in office, the end of the world will soon follow.

I’m still worried, Buh did get elected twice after all, but this rally of fabulous women in Alaska has made me feel a little better. You need some national press!!!! McPalin is the scariest ticket ever.

Thanks ladies you made my day. After seeing that film about wolves being shot from the air, real sporty, made me sick. I supported Hillary, and will do what she wants. Unite the party. No Palin. I cannot believe this woman is serious. It takes more than a big phony smile, and short skirts.

Thank God for you women of Alaska speaking out!!!! We were wondering down here in Tennessee about what you thought; now we know. This woman is dangerous and an embarrassment to women everywhere. The idea that she could be our president is frightening and has caused many sleepless nights. God bless you for speaking out and making a statement about what you stand for and won’t stand for.
We are with you!
