Sarah Palin’s Medical Records Released….Sort of…

4 11 2008

Yes, finally….at the 11th hour, not only is Sarah Palin completely exhonorated of any hint of wrongdoing in Troopergate, now she has also released her “medical records”.  Methinks the public is growing weary of Palin’s shenanigans on both these fronts.  I know I am.

Now, whether or not Trig is her baby cannot ever be incontrovertibly proven without genetic testing.  But this “doctor’s note” from family friend Dr. Cathy Baldwin Johnson, which is obviously meant to put those rumors to rest, does absolutely nothing for those who are convinced that Trig is not her baby, other than perhaps fan the flames of uncertainty.

For anyone who was really waiting for these records, the letter of reference from her family physician is a total non-story.  Palin had said that the dealy in release of her medical records had to do with the fact that they needed to gather the records together and that it was taking some time.  Then she said she would release them early last week.  The days ticked by…  Then, 12 hours before the polls open, they come out with a two page letter that says, “Dear America, Sarah Palin has five children, is healthy and exercises.”  It’s kind of like the Cliff notes of the medical records, because we really didn’t want to read that whole thing anyway, right?

Feel better now?

It would have been so shockingly out of character if they’d actually released REAL medical records. It’s just not Sarah’s style, you know, what with the transparent government thing and all.

Sarah Palin is a cartoon. Cartoons don’t have medical records. They have punch lines. That’s all that letter was–another of Palin’s stupid punch lines.

Don’t know if it made news outside of Hawaii, but the State registrar of public records certified that Obama’s birth certificate is legitimate. She said she has other things to do than to get thousands of emails an hour from conspiracy nuts and it’s hard to get her job done when these SAME ASSHATS call her home in the middle of the night to yell at her.

The delay happened because Rev. Muthee was unwilling to release her actual health care records. He suggest to get a doctor to transcribe them, but still it was impossible to address basic procedures such as Treatment for Demonic Attacks – was it supposed to be listed as exorcism or as preventative spiritual warfare? In the end Muthee suggested “she runs a lot and has a bunch of kids, see what you can do with that,”

Can this last child belong to her daughter ? and, what does this have to do with anything, are we supposed to belive she is some sort of angel, and all our perceptions were wrong? NOT EVEN, and, the first article about her being cleared,,, although they actually speak the facts, it is just sooo typical of the Alaskan republicans to insist they dont do anything wrong. I will go with the first finding of the legislative people. But also, the one thing I noticed is the mainstream media, did mention that it contradicted the first finding. But, for whatever reason they released this record is beyond me. We have more important things to figure out, things she nor McCain has answers for. Goodnite to all and will be celebrating the Democrats victory tomorrow night.

I guess they needed time for the lawyers to review the various drafts that were submitted. The fact that she has attended the same clinic for 17 years makes their claim of needing more time to gather the records even more bogus. If her medical history is that straightforward, the records could have been released in a matter of days. This makes me wonder if there is something else she may be hiding – an abortion in her youth perhaps, that would be noted in her gynie records? Who knows? This letter just raises more questions, in my opinion.

tired…so tired… finished cramming proposition reading, and must crash. it’s not quite an open thread, but close enough. time to leave y’all with an appropriately election eve-y quote. DFW from the 2000 primaries, addressing young voters:

If you are bored and disgusted by politics and don’t bother to vote, you are in effect voting for the entrenched Establishments of the two major parties, who are not dumb and are keenly aware that it’s in their interests to keep you disgusted and bored and cynical and to give you every possible psychological reason to stay at home doing one-hitters and watching MTV Spring Break on Primary Day. By all means stay home if you want, but don’t bullshit yourself that you’re not voting. In reality, there is no such thing as not voting: you either vote by voting, or you vote by staying home and tacitly doubling the value of some Diehard’s vote.

For conspiracy buffs the interesting sentence, as Nixon’s press secretary Ron Zeigler’s would say the operative statement is:
“Therefore, this letter and the information contained herein are being released at the express request and with written consent of Governor Palin”

It looks like innocuous boiler plate, but it states that she determined the content and form of the letter rather than authorizing a release of the records.

Come to think of it, if she had gone to the hospital after her water broke in TX (like she should have), they would have taken a history, and if there was a prior abortion it would have been noted. Obama rally with Hillary in Orlando FLA – 60,000
Obama rally with Bill in Orlando FLA – 35,000

I don’t know this about this doctor personally, but I can say that outside of Anchorage and Fairbanks it’s very normal for a general practitioner to do it all. They medivac when necessary, but often time or weather demands they deal with any emergency with what they have. My brother chose to be a GP because he’s not a city person where most are specialized. I’ve lived all over the US of A (army brat and military wife) and I could get all my medical records intact in about a week or so. All it would take would be 10 phone calls to the various and sundry medical practitioners I have used over the past 25 years. In fact I had to do that for a recent job that required someone with even more perfect health than Palin needs, given what they accept from McCain.
If I can do that, her staff can certainly ask fort the records of the place she’s been attended to for 17 years or more. What a crock of shite.

I have not – from the beginning of this tale – been able to get my head around the idea that even the most incompetent of medical doctors would allow a woman in her mid 40’s, pregnant with a fifth child, to board commercial flights in her 7th-9th month and travel across the country to… give speeches?

Literally, I had to read the story more than once and then check other reports because it made *no* sense to me. None. But all the versions I found reported the same thing.

The story I read about her water breaking, then completing a public speech anyway, then getting back on a commercial plane and flying 20+ hours to get home to her own doctor – omg! We’re just meant to wear this without question?

How does one stand erect at a podium and deliver a 30 minute speech just after one’s water has broken? Lucky she had a change of clothes! And comfortable shoes! And she never once even whinged? And all this time I thought ‘Nanuck of the North’ was just an Alaskan myth!

In Australia, a pregnant woman is not allowed on a commercial flight (barring an emergency) past her 6th month as airlines are not equipped to handle emergency births in flight. One would have thought the USA, a nation whose citizens are not shy about suing major companies when things go wrong would have a similar commercial flight policy.

If I’ve got it wrong, I humbly apologize.

@Lynn-in-Australia :

Of course women aren’t allowed on flights after 6 months – but don’t forget that she wasn’t showing (at least when she chose). And I questioned too not only the flight home but the flight down. And standing up giving a 30 minute speech in labor. I must say that I went to work (as a guide/interpretor) preggers with my first son on a Friday and I was due full term on Sunday/Monday and I was on my feet the whole time (tho not following a 20-hour trip) and I was quite comfortable.

I think that either Trig is not hers (which I think not), if he is hers, then he was full term and not one month early (maybe bringing into question who the real father is?) or she is hiding other things like abortions. Either way it is fishy and a lie.

I think how she ended up with five children is irrelevant, but I find it an odd entry. Saying someone has 5 children is not a medical report. It’s part of the social worker’s report. Reporting pregnancies, miscarriages, sterilization, etc is medical. Having five children is not. It’s like rephrasing to obsfucate the issue. Why not just leave it out – we all know how many children she is raising, and no one has ever reported on the number of children a man has when releasing their medical reports.

Curious.

4 11 2008
sauerkraut aka Road Apple Palin

The letter does not constitute a “medical record.”

Medical records include notations of yearly visits, sick visits, blood tests, etc. The reference to liver enzymes might be a quiet way to move away from any suggestions of heavy drinking. There are no references to any psych screenings because that likely would have been handled by a separate practitioner.

In short, this “medical record” is yet another Palin fraud handed over to a media that has for too long given her a free pass on everything. It’s a fairly pathetic act for them to announce this two-page shill is anything close to resembling anything close to a “medical record.”

Somewhere up north, a state is missing its idiot. Alaska, it’s time to call your idiot back home. Have the spank paddle ready.

4 11 2008

Well, I admit to being a bit suspect about the letter and immediately felt like I was turning into a crazy conspiracy theorist.

I mean, this should clear it up, right? But then I thought, since when is amnio a routine prenatal test? You can help me out here Alaskans, but I doubt it is. I had an amnio in Canada eons ago and it was far from routine. So why would Palin have one?

A pre-term Down baby can go home 2 days after birth? Again, with two healthy kids, I was in the hospital for 6 & 2 nights respectively[okay, it was the 90’s and it was Canadian socialized medicine but still] And she went back to work the next day?

I think Trig is hers, the issue for me is she’s not who she presents herself to be.

The timing is well-planned. The night before the election when everyone has other things to worry about. Hopefully in a day none of this will matter.

SO everyone get out and VOTE. Stay in line. Make me proud of my-soon-to be country!

obamamama- I agree with you. There is something else about SP’s health “record” (Yep, it is a LETTER…not a record in any way, shape or form) that doesn’t add up. I’ve tossed this around in my head for the longest time and can’t come up with anything that would keep someone from releasing simple medical records if they are healthy like they say they are. There is something there – otherwise, no need for delay or this “cover-up” letter from the doc.

I also can’t quite figure out why they didn’t release an “official” medical record (cleansed of any questionable material, of course-wink, wink) just to get everyone off this topic. They have lied about so much…what’s one more phony medical record? Who is the brainiac who actually thought this letter would suffice?

It’s so obvious why this lenghty report took so long to be issued. The people gathering the records had to count and recount the children (and remember, to be sure they were right about Track they probably had to go back to Iraq at least twice for accuracies sake). Then to be correct about the exercising thing someone had to observe Sarah for at least seven days.

Delivering at 43, considered an older obstetrical mom, and high risk, would certainly mandate basic blood work (in fact all Ob patients get a CBC to ensure no anemia, adequate platelets) and an EKG in case anesthesia is required at delivery. Checking lipids is considered prudent, especially if diet is high in meat.

b. The Letter says she delivered five. It does not state the number of pregnancies itself. This is an obvious omission.

c. Did the birth date of Trig get moved up from 36 weeks to 35 weeks? 35 week premature babies often have respiratory distress. Amazing that a mother would not have her premie at a NICU hospital.

d. The reference to liver enzymes may be to due to various rumors floating around.

e. I find it curious that the doctor went from admitting staff to consultation staff in June, 2008, one month after the babies birth at the birth hospital. Was there consternation amongst the hospital chiefs regarding birth of a preterm baby at their hospital and anything else?

f. As the family practioner who did the last two deliveries, she herself knows the truth about the Governors full pregnancy record: gravida ? para 4,1,?,5 (that’s full term, preterm, question mark of miscarriages etc, and live births).

g. As the letter reads, it’s most noticable for what it does not say (past medical history including pregancy history, and prescription drugs etc…) than what it does say.

@Rachelbirds: I fear I must disagree. Sarah Palin will be the 2012 GOP Presidential nominee.

EVERY bit of info we can dig up ASAP will be critically important in the difficult work of stopping her from achieving victory at that point. The shredders, real and metaphorical, have been working overtime since Aug 29th.

If you’ve watched any of her rally performances lately — I know, I know, it’s painful — you’ll see how much more skilled she’s become. She’s got the full GOP base, plus about 20% of independents, under her hypnotic spell. That’s how come 40% of Americans think she’s prepared for the Presidency. All she has to do is grap another clump of independents. The looks, the smiles, the winks, the nods, the high-school cheerleader’s voice and delivery — they all WORK with far too many people.

So: enjoy today. Sleep well tonight. But remain ever vigilant, for this creature has been fully activated and is not going away.

You know this is really that relevant so I just want to point out that even on “Northern Exposure” that I watch religiously in reruns on my local PBS channel, Shelly is now very pregnant and Joel is telling her she needs to go to Anchorage to have the baby so that she is in a neonatal center!

Of course finding out what a rightwing-tutcase Janine Turner is these days has soured the show slightly for me. Although she isn’t my favorite character. My favorites are Ed and Chris and RuthAnn. Joel and Maggie just whine too much for my taste.

Happy Election Day everyone. Please, please vote, especially in California. Prop 8 is too close to comfort. I’m tired of religious groups trying to impose their own personal will on Americans at the expense of other’s individual rights.

Also–according to MD family member, Trig would/should have been kept in hospital longer than two days because the long period of time between the water breaking and the birth can lead to infections such as meningitis.

To toss this in the mix, I was allowed to travel by air at the end of my 8th month of pregnancy – *with* a note from my doc (good health, no problems, no expectation of early delivery etc). I flew from South Carolina to Denver Colorado. Also, I was in my early 20s at the time, not anywhere near the 40 year mark.

However, that *was* 30+ years ago. I’m not familiar with what’s currently allowed.

I pray that by the time 2012 rolls around, her brand of politics (extreme right) is on its way out. We do not need this mindset to “represent” this country.

There are all kinds of things that could have shown up on a medical report. Tied tubes? Face work? Tummy tuck? Four pregnancies not five. . .

I’m betting her doctor would not lie (if found out she could lose her license on any of these shenanigans) and wrote what she did so that it could only amount to truth-telling.

AKM will keep on SP as gov, no matter what. And Palin’s shenanigans will eventually catch up to her like a helicopter hunter on a pack of wolves. Thank God for the backstream media!

Is there an age-related risk factor with respect to Down’s Syndrome babies? I’m ready to believe that Trig is not her child, but my girlfriend, who is a geneticist, told me there’s a high correlation between age of the mother and Down’s Syndrome. I never see this mentioned in any discussions of the issue, however, so I’m wondering if anyone out there knows about it.

4 11 2008
Willie

Yes, there is a greater chance to deliver a baby with Down’s Syndrome as a woman ages. Best not to have a baby after 40.

4 11 2008
irina

I think she’s on Premarin and has steroid psychosis. Google it. Scary in the extreme. I know, for some weird reason my mother in law took Premarin for FORTY years, no one took her off it and she took it until she was eighty !

I found out after the fact and then all her jealous paranoid psychotic behavior started to make sense, also that would explain Sarah’s extreme strength and her youthful figure, etc. etc.

The Doctor is lying. And where is Trig’s birth certificate ? What in the world are we going to do with this woman when she lands back in our beloved state?

4 11 2008
Pat, Washingonton state

OK, I didn’t really care about her medical records, didn’t really believe that Trig wasn’t hers. Until I read the letter. I’m still not sure what to believe, but now I DO have questions.

The doctor that she sees regularly had to gather the information? Wouldn’t that all have been in one file if she sees the same doctor or goes to the same clinic? My files are already all in one place, except for the years when I lived somewhere else and had a different doctor. She’s lived in the same place for a long time. So that’s the first oddity.

And then there is Trig. Pre-term? Wow, that’s the first time I’ve heard that. And he had a little jaundice (entirely normal) and went home after two days. Hmmm. My first daughter, who had no health problems other than being born early at 34 weeks, had to stay in the hospital for 19 days. So how is it that a Down Syndrome baby, born at 35 weeks, was able to go home after just two days? That just doesn’t even make any sense. Especially since her water broke when she was in Texas and she travelled all the way home. When our daughter was born early, it was because my water broke (at home, only 10 minutes from the hospital), and they told me that it was imperitive that I get to the hospital. Once that happens, the baby doesn’t have protection from outside infection anymore, and it’s crucial to be in the hospital (or if a mother is having the baby at home, to be taking appropriate steps for the impending birth).

Now, the other thing about a premature baby is that most parents are told to be very careful of the baby’s health for the first year. They are more prone to respiratory diseases than full term babies. I know we barely took our daughter out around other people the first 5 or 6 months, even though she was doing very well, and didn’t have any other health issues. So here we see Ms. Palin hauling Trig all over the country, exposing him to whatever all those people in the crowd might have. That has to be the most irresponsible thing she’s done yet. So, at that point, I don’t care whether Trig is her’s or not – I just can’t get over her complete disregard for the health of this little baby who is only 5 or 6 months old.

She won’t get Mother of the Year for her recent actions and choices, in my opinion.

Pat

The letter from the doctor states that Palin had 4 term pregnancies and one preterm (Trig). Palin’s first child, Track, was born less than 8 months after they got married. If he was full term, then it looks like he was a ‘bun in the oven’ when Sarah and Todd got hitched. Kind of hypocritical, don’t you think?

4 11 2008
Lara

@Laura: If he was full term, then it looks like he was a ‘bun in the oven’ when Sarah and Todd got hitched. Kind of hypocritical, don’t you think?

Actually, I don’t think Track’s birth is a big deal. Lots of people get married with “a bun in the oven,” IF that’s what happened. Might not have been their best decision, but I’ve made lots of dumb decisions. HOpefully not as many as I get older. There’s nothing in the story to indicate they didn’t love and care for him as they did the rest of their children (and I know there are questions about how good a parent they are, but again I think that’s irrelevant to my decision as to candidates).
If the rules are life that we can’t (try to) teach my kids not to do the same mistakes we made, then we’re all in trouble.

One more comment – I was reading some of the comments about how late in a pregnancy a woman is allowed to fly commercially. Six months in Australia, but I think it’s later in the US. I flew when I was 7 months, but after checking with my doctor and the airline. And it was a very short flight, from Wichita, KS to Denver, CO. So it was only about two hours. At that point, there was no indication that I would deliver early, or the doctor would have said no, I’m sure.

The other thing that I was thinking about. When I was pregnant with my first, I didn’t get very big – all those nice tight tummy muscles had never been stretched. But with my second? I was as big as a house, even by the seventh month. So just how did Ms. Palin stay so small with a fifth child? That in itself just isn’t realistic.

And yes, the points are right on the mark that a premature baby would have been in NICU, even if everything seemed OK. At least for the bit.

None of that Letter makes any sense. Actually, the part about the reference to liver levels makes even less sense. I don’t think mine has ever been checked, but I don’t think it’s ever been a question – and I’m 59. So why would that even come up? There are a lot of things that could have been mentioned in the Letter that would be more relevant.

Pat

I was talking with a trusted political source recently, and he said that political animals who are stopped/victimized (ha) before their term is up become quite vindictive. The letter was a generic summary, not medical records. It would not be sufficient for an immigration health report, for example, nor for a discharge from service for Los Alamos National Lab. It should not have taken weeks/months to do.

Any pregnancy past the age of 35 carries increased risk for mother and foetus/infant. Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome) risk increases considerably if the mother is over 40. This is because her eggs are over 40.

Now– why aren’t folks asking
* if one has several children and over the age of 40, why hasn’t Todd had a vasectomy? That’s a personal decision, yes, but now that the dangers of late pregnancy (to mother as well as infant) are potentially part of national and world security, I am surprised it is not discussed. [for Sarah– Does tubal ligation count as abortion? Some folks believe contraception does.]

The doubts over Trig’s motherness just aren’t worth fussing over. A small belly and trisomy-21 aren’t unusual in Sarah Palin’s case.

For whoever asked, amnio IS routine if the mother is over 35 years of age because DS is more common in older mothers. My sister had 2 kids after the age of 35 and had amnios with both, despite the fact that it’s got some risk to it. I’m sure some doctors have a different view…

The vasectomy question interests me–I’m guessing that both vasectomies and birth control are not highly valued in their faith community? I know few people over 40 who have had children that weren’t “accidents!” (Including my baby brother, a pleasant accident, while Mom was on the pill)

Call me ‘bad’, but my theory is that Palin is Trig’s mother. But…she wanted to leave him in God’s hands. Exercising/dieting until month 7 to the extend no one recognized the pregnancy. Flying at almost 8 months…and after ambionic fluid is leaking. Passing first rate medical facilities to arrive at Wasilla’s clinic that doesn’t service high risk births.

What caring/loving/nurturing mother would put a ‘wanted’ baby at such peril?

What caring/loving/nurturing voters would chose such a woman?

So…one thing I have been wondering about ever since I first heard about Trig maybe being Bristol’s baby. I have seen the pics that were posted before of Sarah and how she did not really look pregnant, but how about Bristol. Is there not anyone there that knows if she was pregnant or not. It would have been much easier for Sarah to fake being pregnant than for Bristol to fake not being pregnant. ??

You obamabots are out of your collective minds. You don’t mind in the least that you are trying to elect a man with no record, no accomplishments, and an avowed socialist, to boot, whose adult life is mostly hidden from view.

And yet you have nothing but vile ravings to offer as “commentary” on Sarah Palin, whose life is well documented and out there, and who has 100% more executive experience than Obama has. Oh, Yeah. Let’s not forget that she is running for VP and not President.

Try offering sane commentary on this factoid: the Annointed One has said that he is going to bankrupt the coal industry from which we derive what? 85% of our electricity and that it will send our utility bills sky high. Thus will he personally put an end to global warming, I suppose. Can I get an AMEN!!!?

Sarah wants to drill for some part of Alaska’s oil reserves.

Which one of these people is sane, I ask you?

Now, if anyone is still watching this thread,

SC Strike Chipper Hussein — you say amniocentesis is routine for pregnant women over 35 because of increased risk of a Down Syndrome child. But is it done if the mother is committed not to abort under any circumstances, since it does increase the risk of miscarriage?

Those aren’t medical records. Do you mean to tell me this is the only doctor she’s seen? Thank goodness she is off the national stage now. Buh-bye!

talldeb for O

I’m sorry – this page is about Palin’s medical records – personally I think a good rumor would be she has actually had an abortion but that would fly in the face of Dobson’s ‘focus on the family’ but this is a response to Miss Lilly above….

Miss Lilly – you are out of your league; Obama does have a record of accomplishing things – considerable things considering the rampant racism and bigotry in ‘real’ America – just ‘one’ ‘minor’ accomplishment – first Black lawyer to be President of Harvard law Review, is not an avowed socialist – even the Presidential candidate of the socialist party expressed that on NPR interview (truly – have you ever studied the platforms of the Repub, Demo, social, libertian, naturalist, etc parties – they are out there to read); and a record – well let’s start with being on Veterans senate committee and getting disability benefits to Illinois veterans, or how about the first of over 140 bills written (with a republican) during his 4 years as US Senator in making transparent where government spends your tax dollars, or fought to improve the VA system to prepare for the returning soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan…not hard to find online.

Now as far as not having a visible public life – he has written two – that would be ‘2’ books and had the guts to openly admit having tried drugs, but even more so and more valuable to me….he told me he was human, he told me how he came to know himself – the greatest thing a human being can do for themselves and humanity spoken by Jesus – ‘Know thyself’. He like the majority of human beings on this planet went the trials and tribulations and experiments of sorting out who he was, what he stood for, and in addition he had to deal with being 1/2 black and 1/2 white – if you remember mulattos have not always been openly received in this country.

Executive experience is NOT the mark of whether you are a good leader. A good leader have critical thinking skills, open-mindedness, the ability to step in when needed, to assess a situation, to surround themselves with great minds, good negotiation skills, diplomatic skills, is level-headed, and has good emotional intelligence – perhaps one of his greatest skills – my prediction. You know as well as I do that you can have a person not be the best in their chosen career (say a teacher or laborer) but boy can they lead and the same holds true the other way.

I’m not so sure Sarah Palin has been completely honest with us. Most Alaskans I talk to these days say Palin can not tell the truth. Don’t know and don’t care. She is clearly not ready for a high political office and 22 months in Alaska governor’s seat does not prepare her. We, as the voters and members of this country, have every right to scrutinize her as other politicians. She has no special consideration than any other person we want to put in a position of power.

And finally Obama did not say He would personally bankrupt coal. He said that if any business tried to open a NEW coal plant they would go bankrupt because of the cost of paying for the greenhouse gas omission. Why don’t you practice being sane – we absolutely , 100% need to change our energy sources to green energy as much as possible and as soon is possible. It is possible, it will creat hundreds of thousands of job, it will boost the economy. Perhaps we can sacrifice as we have been asked to do by our new president just like we did in the 70’s during the oil crisis. Do we really need to heat 4, 5, 6000 sq ft homes? Palin wants to drill the ANWR – a protected wilderness area…By the way Alaska’s crude oil production peaked in 1988. It is not unlimited nor a source that would stop our need for foreign import the estimate is that even with full production in ANWR we would still have to import 2/3rds of our oil.

Your use of the phraseology ‘the Annointed One’ makes me believe you think you are very Christian. Why do Christians insist on being ignorant?? Why do you not insist on knowing the absolute truth?? Why do you insist on being sheep led by a ring in the nose – here do this, here think this?? It is so much more invigorating, and enlivening to think, to expand your mind, to be free of other people’s beliefs and expectations. You get to truly embrace not only fantastic people in this country but all over the world – what a fantastic place this world is!

I bet you are one of those people who also believes he is the ‘Antichrist’. You know what if you people insist that the Bible is ‘still’ accurate and always comes to pass then frankly who gives a @@@@ if he is the antichrist. Why are you afraid to die? if you have a savior? Bring it on and let’s get it over with. Us ‘unamerican, unpatriotic, non-Christian, fake Americans’ will be watching you ‘rapture’ on MSNBC!

sorry but I’m pissed, I’m angry. I’ve sat patiently for 8 years while Bush has ravaged our country for he and his cronies gain and diminished the world view of a fantastic country – USA. It is time for the Democrats and you Republicans will have to sit on your hands and take it. You are not the end all and be all but you have the award for being ‘holier than thou’….go – know thyself!

You rave about Palin’s med record – submitting a page. How about the love of your life Obama. Per the NY Times a one page undated letter was released summarizing his last 21 year medical history, signed by his physician (who has been his continuous physician since 3/23/1987). The point is a pass was given to Obama on about everything. But hey the election is over and it is what it is.

As much as this is going to chap you – Palin will return and you probably won’t like the results. The pendulum swings you know. The question of Trig’s birth mother has nothing to do with anything except: it goes to the credibility (or non) of Sarah Palin. If she in fact is not Trig’s mother, then those people who would fall on their sword for her have a right to know to what end she will go to stretch the truth to suit her personal agenda. It goes to her profound ability to look straight into the camera and – lie.

a. If she knew before the trip to Texas that her baby had DS than those particular travel plans put her unborn child at risk and she is not the pro-life crusader she pretends to be.

b. If Trig is not her baby and she covered up for one of her daughters, fair enough but – what does it say about a person who can go to such an elaborate length to cover up a truth that should not have needed ‘covering up’ in the first place?

c. Why on earth was a newborn DS baby trucked about like a tote bag to public venues, being exposed to constant changes of altitude, climate, temperatures and the colds and flu bugs indicative of large crowds? And was there something in her medical records which would indicate she should have kept the baby at home?

d. A two-page cover letter does not a medical record make. If she were my governor, I would be asking a lot of questions when she got home. She thinks she’s going to ‘clean-up’ journaism?

Using her own words… “Take the gloves off” Alaska – your country has a right to know what’s going to be unleashed in 2012.
